PROFILE EMMANUEL OJE EHIMIKA

Emmanuel Oje Ehimika simply called Preacherman, is a highly influential and impactful minister whose ministry cuts across denominations within the Church globally.
Though extremely simple in outlook, his name sits on the tables of men and women of influence across nations of the world. This feat was largely accomplished through God’s grace in his life found in three different dimensions visible for all to see.
Chronicling down his background lane, he hails from Okpuje, in Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State, South-South Zone of Nigeria. He was born in Auchi, Etsakor Local Government area of Edo State, Nigeria on June 30, 1960. Emmanuel was raised with a strong Anglican background and in 1972, he personally accepted Christ into his life at a Scripture Union (SU) camp meeting in Benin City, Edo State.
He attended St John’s College, Fugar, Edo State and had his Advanced levels (A’ Levels) at the Polytechnic of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State before proceeding to the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, where he bagged a degree in Economics in the year 1981. And immediately after his degree, he had his National Youth Service at the Central Bank, Kano between 1981 and 1982.
In 1982, he pioneered the art of Academic Motivational talks in Nigeria and travelled across all the states of Nigeria delivering talks to students, teachers, principals, and parents. On seeing his unequalled success in this field supported by the testimonies and commendations of principals of renowned schools in Nigeria, in May 1996, the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education organized a symposium where he addressed the first-ever lecture on Character Formation in Nigeria. His talk during the event which attracted over 7000 participants, was rated by the Federal Minister Of State For Education as the best.
More so, in the 90s, Emmanuel’s Hour of Refreshing broadcast was one of the foremost Christian television ministries in Abeokuta, Ogun State, South West, Nigeria.
In the year 2000, his motivational talk show titled - Splashes Of Challenge was one of the foremost motivational talk shows on both radio and television in Nigeria, aired on LTV and Eko FM, Lagos, Nigeria.
In December 2004, Emmanuel was pointedly instructed by the Holy Spirit to close down the Church he was pastoring to write and publish Ministers Alive magazine explicitly aimed at encouraging Ministers of God, fostering reconciliation and unity among them.
The magazine, (hard copies), given out free of charge world-wide is reputed to be one of the most guileless and practical Christian literatures, distinctly cutting across all denominations; with testimonies from both up-coming and renowned Christian leaders about its positive eternal impact.
Beaming a light on his eminent personality, Emmanuel is considered as one of the most influential bridge-builders among Ministers of God all over the world today; going by testimonies of reconciliations between ministers and even kings inspired by his ministry.
Success Digest regards Emmanuel as the most compelling motivator that God has blessed Nigeria with; the magazine posits that “he speaks with authority, clarity and passion.”
Celebrity Christian magazine in the 2007 special edition listed Emmanuel as one of the “50 Most Inspiring and Influential Men of God in Nigeria.”
In the most divine manner, in 2010, Emmanuel was led by the Holy Spirit to outset The Jesus Dream (TJD) annual world-wide one hour prayer of unity which was observed concurrently in most parts of the world; an ever growing experience which has now translated into a worldwide worship hour of declaring the wonderful works of God.
What almost everyone thought was an impossible feat initially has steadily grown over the years, unambiguously attracting sponsorships from media houses in all the continents of the world to become the Most Unifying Christian Experience in the world. The cost of free adverts now runs to millions of dollars which depicts an obvious sign of the finger of God.
In May 2013, he was invited by Imo State Government, South East, Nigeria under the leadership of the First Lady of the state to address a specially arranged forum on the topic: Emerging Leaders, for which about 4,000 Christian youths were gathered. It was no doubt the first of its kind in the history of the state and probably Nigeria. The lecture was chaired by the Executive State Governor himself, with members of his Executive Council also in attendance.
By divine orchestration, in 2015, the Holy Spirit chose Emmanuel to oversee and write the Foreword to the world-famed and celebrated coffee table book, Living Waters For Kings And Presidents, a book that was received by one hundred and ninety Presidents of nations of the world, hundreds of Senators, Governors, Prime Ministers, Judges, Mayors, Kings and Queens, in various nations of the world.
Heartwarming testimonies and commendations keep flowing in from around the world, underscoring the unmistakable relevance of the book.
Emmanuel and his “early” wife, Bisi, (who passed on to glory on July 25, 2018), are blessed with four children - Ehimehomo, Omolegho, Emmanuella and Enoch.
Emmanuel is now married to Christie and the family lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
He is blessed with very committed ministry staff, dedicated ministry members, and supportive partners.
